Five Questions with Koko Blossom Founder Laura

We are starting a new series on the blog called 'Five Questions'. We will be asking small business owners five questions about their business, from why they started to how they relax. I am really exited to get a look into other businesses and the how's and why's. If you have anyone you'd like us to ask please let us know over on Instagram.

For the first small business owner I had to start with our very own Laura!

What inspired you to start Koko Blossom?

I wanted to create a stylish brand that created practical products I would be proud to use but would also make thoughtful and chic gifts.

What is your favourite product you stock and why?

Definitely the pocket phone case, it's the perfect case... protective and functional. When I nip to the shops I can just grab my phone and my credit card is already stored... no handbag needed.

Where do you find your inspiration?

I am an avid magazine reader so get lots of inspo there and then I also love holidays and beaches, Australia in particular, so always look to there too.

What is the biggest challenge of being a small business owner?

I think that you have the business on your mind 24/7, there are no days off. Even when you have a break it is hard to cut off from your 'baby'. I normally have all the best ideas on days off and then I can't wait to get going on them so never really give my brain a break.

What is your perfect day off?

Sitting on my balcony in the sunshine, just myself for company, with a magazine and a large latte.
